The U.S. Air Force Reserve Pipe Band has it's own tartan and the
Kilt & Thistle has outfitted the Air Force Heritage Band with the Mitchell
tartan , used to honor famous aviator Captain Billy Mitchell. The Air Force
Heritage Band is pictured below.

This tartan is available from us in
11oz.(stock) and 13oz and 16oz. The 11oz. fabric is for ties , scarves,
trews, men's trousers, ladies, skirts, scarves, sashes, shawls, and vests
for both men and women. The 13oz. fabric is for men's kilts. We stock
the ties and scarves. We are happy to order non-stock items at your request.
Heavy kilt weight of 16oz. fabric can be woven on request. We charge the
same for the Forces tartans that we do anything else. Please see the
respective section for any custom garments. |
