The Camhayle Brooch 
"Cam-hayle" is Cornish for "crooked estuary" and is the origin of the name of the River Camel in North Cornwall. Our Camhayle Booch is a traditional penannular brooch in hand polished pewter with a robust 2mm pin and set with a pair of amber cabochons. The brooch is richly covered with Celtic designs of entwined birds, spirals, knotwork and key patterns and is suitable for wearing with a loosely woven scarf or shawl. It comes in a smart presentation box with information about the design and the care of pewter.  $24.95
 

 

Triskele 
To the ancient Celts the number three had magical significance and the triskele was a powerful symbol of good luck. Our hand polished pewter triskele is set with a malachite cabochon and comes as either a pendant, a brooch or drop earrings. The pendant has a 450mm (18 inch) stainless steel chain and the earrings have surgical steel hooks to reduce the risk of allergic reaction and all three are presentation boxed with information about the design and care of the pewter.  $ 24.95 
 

 

Ardagh Chalice 
The Ardagh Chalice is considered to be one of the finest examples of Celtic Christian metalwork . Made from silver and bronze in the seventh century, it is the inspiration for this handsome pendant and brooch set with garnet cabochons. The pendant has a strong 600mm (24 inch) stainless steel chain and the earrings have surgical steel hooks to reduce the risk of allergic reaction. Thistle Brooch in solid Pewter Click to enlarge for detail. This special thistle is actually from the same mold as one of the pieces sent to Scotland during the making of the $80,000 solid gold Collar that McKee created for Scotland's Lord Lyon, King of Arms.  It was sent as a sample of the links of the chain so that the Lyon Court could follow the development of the project.  This stunning little pin  is hand cast in pewter, and held firmly against your garment with clutch backs.  2" x 1 1/4"                  Price $ 16.95
