Charles Buyers Pewter Flasks We have introduced a range of pewter hip, or drinking, flasks. Pewter is an excellent material to make flasks as it tarnishes more slowly than silver plated. Pewter is made predominantly from tin with antimony (to add lustre) and copper to strengthen it. In the past lead was added. This darkened the pewter. The pewter used today, and the solder, is lead free. This is an excellent line and like the other Charles Buyers products, they are a great value. Click on the images to enlarge.
