Scottish Wool 13oz. Medium Weight

Perfect for Men's kilts for general purpose. There is a difference from 13oz. to 16oz. fabric. However the availability of tartans in 16oz. is limited. You will find most tartans woven in a 13oz. fabric. For pipe bands, and others that feel they will us their kilt often, please feel free to contact us for more information at tartan@kilts.com.

 

The Kilt & Thistle 13oz.  Quality Stock Tartan is a 100% pure new wool, worsted tartan kilting and upholstery fabric with a weight of 405gms per metre (13oz. per yard) at width 142cm (56 inches). It is available in over 120 authentic stock tartan designs in both Modern and Old Colours. Our 13oz. is a thoroughbred, medium weight kilting fabric, woven with a traditional selvedge and intended primarily for use as a gent's kilting material. Its hardwearing qualities, coupled with our wide range of tartan designs, also make it an ideal upholstery fabric. Price $65.00 per yard.
