Simon Fraser University Pipe Band

Featured Albums from SFU $9.95 each

We're not just blow"in smoke up yer kilt!  As an introduction to our expanded music and CD section were are selling the World Champion Simon Fraser University Pipe band at a truly Scottish price.  Being in the Northwest we get a chance to see SFU on a regular basis at many of the Highland Games up here.  One of my favorite stories includes SFU. Several years ago SFU came to Eugene, Oregon to play at the auditorium of Willamette High School. The auditorium holds about 500 and the performance was part of a Burns Day Celebration that Jim Grant, head of the Celtic Society at the school , put together. We were invited to attend and promote our shop at the event. Standing in the auditorium for the performance I noticed that the place was not half full. Watching the world Champion Pipe Band with 250 other people, I quickly realized that most of  these folks in the audience did not know what they really had here. For it was one week later that SFU recorded "Live At Carnegie Hall" to a packed house.

By the way it is pronounced " Car nay gee " Born in Scotland. ( of course )
