What is a quaich? Well, it is a traditional shallow, two handled cup used for drinking. The word “quaich” comes from the Gaelic “cuach”, which means “cup”.
The two handles of the quaich symbolize as the cup of friendship. In the past, quaichs were made of wood, but now they tend to be wade of silver or pewter. They were used to give a visitor a welcome or farewell tipple of whisky when visiting or leaving a house. In the modern era, they tend to be given at weddings, which led us to develop our own range of wedding quaichs. So if you are looking for a quaich for a wedding, you’ve come to the right place.
